Avoid Delays
Spelling, spacing or ordering that does not match the passport is an easy slip. Copy names exactly as printed.
Transposed digits in a passport number or a date of birth are common. Read each figure aloud against the document.
Make sure the dates you enter match your actual plans and any documents that mention them.
An email address with one wrong character may mean messages never reach you. Check it twice.
Take a few minutes at the end to read through everything, and make sure documents are legible.
Save supporting documents in one folder, in clear and readable files, and make sure each one is legible.
FAQs
An ordinary holiday: the Tourist list is the passport page and the photograph, with a letter added only for short courses and short-term volunteering.
For business meetings and trade activities, an invitation letter is listed as optional, if applicable. Conference, seminar and workshop visits list an invitation from the event organizer, and sports and academic purposes list invitations from the relevant federation or host institution.
The Medical lists include a letter from the hospital or treatment institution indicating the tentative admission date. For hospital consultations and follow-up treatment it is listed as applicable where relevant.
Yes. Short courses list a letter from the course provider on letterhead, and short-term voluntary activities list a letter from the voluntary organization on letterhead. Both are in addition to the passport page and photograph.
