India e-Visa for Saudi Arabian Citizens

Most of the work in preparing for India is deciding which e-Visa category the trip belongs to. Once that is settled, the price you should note, the time to allow and the papers to gather follow from it. This page is arranged in that order, and one Business price on it is set specifically for Saudi Arabia.

Planning information only. Eligibility is not assessed and no outcome is promised.

Three kinds of trip

Each folder describes one category. Open the page of the one that fits.

Tourist e-Visa

You are travelling for leisure: sightseeing, a holiday, or time with friends and relatives.

A short course or short-term volunteering adds a letter from the course provider or voluntary organization.

Tourist e-Visa page
Business e-Visa

You are travelling to work events: meetings, trade fairs, conferences, seminars or workshops.

For meetings an invitation letter is optional, where it applies. Conferences, seminars and workshops list the organizer's invitation.

Business e-Visa page
Medical e-Visa

You are travelling for care: a consultation, treatment or follow-up.

The hospital or treatment institution provides a letter. A companion who is only accompanying a patient may need a different visa category.

Saudi Arabian Traveler FAQs

Why is one Business tile priced differently for Saudi Arabia?

For this one option the website holds its own Saudi Arabia price, which is why the tile is tagged. It does not say why. Every other tile uses the general list, and the fees page carries the same numbers.

How do I choose when the trip has both work and leisure?

Settle on the aim that matters most and read that folder. For the other aim, check current guidance carefully instead of guessing; the visa options page lays out the three categories together.

What does an estimate of working days actually tell me?

It describes the service, not an outcome. Regular is put at 4–5 working days and Express at 2–3; approval and delivery are still unguaranteed, so keep a buffer before booking anything hard to change.

Which two items should I scan or photograph first?

Begin with the passport page that carries your details and a recent color picture of yourself; every category lists both. For anything your purpose adds, the requirements guide is the place to look, bearing in mind that it is general and conditions can change.

What should Saudi Arabian passport holders have ready before applying for an India eVisa?

Choose the category and service level that match your trip, then have your passport details, a recent photograph, your travel dates and any supporting documents ready, so you can enter every detail exactly as it appears in your documents.
